Sunrise yoga

If you are looking for an energizing start for the day our yoga class is an experience not to be missed. All classes are beginner-friendly and suitable for all ages. All you need is some comfortable clothes and a water bottle!
The simple movement and breathing exercises will leave you feeling in harmony with body and mind, and allow a deeper sense of the surrounding mountains. During our I-hour beginner yoga lesson, we are aiming for balance, flow and serenity, so you can take that harmonious feeling with you for the rest of the day. The classes contain gentle stretching and strengthening exercises combined with some easy breathwork and mindfulness.

When? The season for sunrise yoga starts in the beginning of June. Hope to see you this summer!

Where? Meet us 10 minutes ahead of the lesson at the Beach Bar. Depending on the weather, lessons are held at the Beach or upstairs in the Beach Bar Building.

Prices?

  • Private lesson 2 people 300,-/pP.

Meet your yoga instructor

Our yoga teacher Susanne invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with the unique energy of Lofoten. Surrounded by mountains, ocean, and fresh Arctic air, her classes are designed to help you feel grounded, strong, and present — whether you’re preparing for a day of surfing, hiking, or simply enjoying the peaceful rhythm of the islands. Inspired by Hatha, Ashtanga, and Yin Yoga, Susanne creates a balanced practice that combines strength, mobility, flexibility, and mindful relaxation. She has spent time studying and practicing yoga in both Nepal and India, where she deepened her understanding of traditional yoga philosophy and breathwork. These experiences continue to shape her calm and grounded approach to teaching.

Susanne believes that yoga is about meeting yourself where you are. She encourages mindful movement, conscious breathing, and finding your own rhythm rather than striving for perfection. Her classes are suitable for all levels and offer the perfect complement to an active lifestyle—helping surfers improve balance, mobility, recovery, and body awareness. Each session ends with a deeply relaxing Shavasana, accompanied by the gentle vibrations of a singing bowl, allowing both body and mind to fully unwind before you step back into the beauty of Lofoten.
